Replying and Starting a New Topic

Question: I want to reply to a post, how can I do that?

Answer: Open up any topic or posting and you will notice that there is a button near the top of that area called Reply (Figure 1).  Clicking on that button will open up a new page as shown in Figure 2.  If you do not see a "Reply" button then it means that the topic has been closed, so replying is not an option.

At this point, you can type any response you may wish to, and include an attachment.  If you are uncertain of the spelling in your message, click on the ABC button in upper right corner, and it will do an automatic spell-check of your message.  You will also note  a checkbox at the bottom of the form that allows for instant notification of any responses to your post/response.

Question: I want to start a new topic, how can I do that? Can I be notified when someone posts a reply to my topic?

Answer:  Inside any forum or even a posting you may be reading, you will see a button called New Topic (see Figure 3).  Clicking on that button will open up a new page where you can start your own topic (see Figure 4).

Your topic can also include polls (see link on bottom of the New Topic page), and can include an attachment if there are images or documents you wish others to see.  As with any posting you make, whether it is a response or a new topic, you have the choice to be notified as soon as someone has posted a response to your post (see Figure 2 above for area when requesting notification of responses).
